Each authorized ‘shopper’ for member agencies is required to attend this orientation once. We’ll discuss how your organization can make the most of your membership with us. You’ll learn about World Vision’s policies and any exciting new updates from about our work in New York City.

Using Public Transportation
1. Take the # 6 train to Cypress Avenue Stop
2. Take the left-hand staircase out of the subway station; you will exit onto 138th Street
3. Go under the Bruckner Expressway, headed east on 138th Street
4. After crossing Bruckner, continue walking to the 2nd intersection, Rose Feiss Blvd / Walnut Avenue
5. The Warehouse is the brick building on the Northeast corner of Walnut Avenue and E 138th Street
Driving from New Jersey
1. Take the George Washington Bridge toward NYC. You will be on I-95 North.
2. Take the I-87 exit, #1C, toward Major Deegan Expressway / Albany / Queens – toward Queens
3. Merge onto I-87 South / Major Deegan Expressway, via exit # 3S – on the left to Queens
4. Take exit #1 Brook Avenue / Hunts Point Market
5. Turn right onto Brook Avenue, drive 1 block
6. Turn Left onto Bruckner Blvd and stay to your right
7. At fork in the road (SJ Supply sign ahead) bear right onto East 133rd Street
8. After underpass, drive 2 blocks to Rose Feiss Blvd / Walnut Avenue
9. Make a left, go five blocks to the corner of 138th Street
10. The Warehouse is the brick building on the Northeast corner of Walnut Avenue and E 138th Street
Driving from Up-State New York via Route 87 South
1. Take Route 87 South toward New York City
2. Refer to “Driving from New Jersey” steps 4-10
Driving from Connecticut
1. Take I-95 South toward New York City / George Washington Bridge / Triborough Bridge
(Once in New York, I-95 veers to the right, do not go toward 295 / Throgs Neck Bridge)
2. Merge onto Bruckner Expwy / I-278 West via exit 6B on the left, toward Triborough Bridge
3. Go to exit #45 to East 138th Street
4. Stay to the far left lane of Bruckner Blvd and veer left under the Bruckner Expressway overpass
5. Turn left on East 138th Street
6. Go two blocks East to East 138th Street and Walnut Avenue
7. The Warehouse is the brick building on the Northeast corner of Walnut Avenue and E 138th Street
Driving from Long Island
1. Take the Cross Island Parkway North toward the Whitestone Bridge
2. Cross the Whitestone Bridge and go toward Bruckner Expressway / I-278
3. Merge onto Bruckner Expressway / I-278 West toward Triborough Bridge
4. Refer to “Drive from Connecticut” steps 3-7
Driving from Brooklyn or Queens
1. Northern State Parkway / Grand Central to the Triborough Bridge
2. After paying toll, move to the right lane and follow signs for Bruckner Expressway / New England
3. Take the first exit, #48 (138th Street)
4. Turn right at the light onto East 138th Street
5. Continue two blocks to the corner of 138th Street and Walnut Avenue
6. The Warehouse is the brick building on the Northeast corner of Walnut Avenue and E 138th Street
