How We Work

World Vision provides top-quality donated items to children and families in need through the local organizations dedicated to helping them work their way out of poverty. Manufacturers, retailers, and other corporate donors supply our Storehouse program with daily essentials, school and office supplies, medical supplies and health care items, and building materials all aimed at improving the quality of life for families battling the damaging effects of poverty.

To ensure these items get to those in greatest need, the World Vision Storehouse in Southern California partners with local churches, shelters, schools, clinics, and other organizations that serve children and families. We provide these partners with first-rate overstock or last year’s product from our generous donors, and they, in turn, see that the goods get to those with the greatest need.
