Our Impact on Poverty in America
Poverty in the U.S. is complex. World Vision works to alleviate it in multiple ways.
One way is through our U.S. mission trips. In these weeklong experiences, volunteers help make homes safe and warm, minister to children, build relationships, and bring hope to families in need. Our survey of volunteers found that 98.2 percent would participate again and recommend the trips to others. "The relationships we have formed have been life-changing for our team," one participant said.
World Vision's U.S. mission trips are making a positive impact on children, families, teachers and classrooms. See the highlights of the 2013 mission trip survey.
